This study stages a large, off-center head anchored to a slender line, letting the page breathe while the face negotiates mischief and control. The hand remains visible in wavering marks and confident erasures, converting hesitation into structure. Asymmetry becomes the engine of expression, inviting the grin to read as both mask and method. Sparse means and a monochrome palette fold accident into intention, presenting process as the true subject. It is a small drawing that behaves like a rehearsal for a monument.
